Fat Dude Digs Flicks

Don’t worry. There won’t be another name change or redesign or anything like that. I really like the name and the format, so those things are sticking around for awhile. What will be changing is the frequency of which I write here. I am taking some solicited, friendly advice from a professional I have great respect for and am accepting the challenge to write here more often. You will start to see more reviews here of varying lengths. I’ll offer comments on big movie news. I’ll try to report things to you as soon as I hear them. I also would like to start a couple of regular features. There are some things I would like to do every week so that I consistently have something to write about. I have a few ideas:

• In Defense Of… - I pick an awful movie that I actually enjoy and write about its finer qualities
• Top Five - You suggest a topic and I give you my top five related to said topic. Yes. This is my film homage to HIGH FIDELITY.

I’m also open to suggestions. What would get you coming back on a daily/weekly basis? What would get you to read this blog every day? What kind of movie talk are you interested in?

I’m thankful for the people that do read this, but, as an aspiring writer, I long for exposure. Pretend I’m a candidate for something. How can I get your vote?
