7. TYRANNOSAUR (written and directed by Paddy Considine)
Joseph, a man plagued by violence and a rage that is driving him to self-destruction, earns a chance of redemption that appears in the form of Hannah, a Christian charity shop worker.
What top ten list would be complete without a movie no one has seen? A hardened alcoholic is as down on his luck as one man can be. At the end of a bender, he is helped by a meek, Christian woman who runs a Goodwill-like shop. As the two become closer, it becomes known that there is much more to this woman than originally thought. Olivia Colman and Peter Mullen deliver crackling performances. It is an absolutely spellbinding film to watch as the world of these two characters starts to unfold - and unravel - before our very eyes.
